About me

My name is Benedek Rafai, I am a level designer from Hungary working in Unreal Engine. I am currently living in the Netherlands (Breda).

My toolset includes researching, sketching, creating block-outs, and node-based visual scripting to implement systems in the levels I work on. Iā€™m passionate about creating immersive worlds and spaces that people can have a good time in and I love collaborating with others on projects.

Why Level Design?

Since I could draw and write I have been passionate about jumping into and creating imaginary worlds where my stories could take place. When people play the levels I created it makes me very happy to see them get immersed in the spaces and care about the world, living out their own story.

Other hobbies

Storytelling and drawing are my biggest passions. Creating very intricate pieces with a lot of detail is a very relaxing experience for me. I also love building worlds that feel real, for which being a Dungeon Master in DnD has been a great experience. Besides that I like playing guitar and do exercise.
